September 1, 2007, Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. It was just a little over a week after my mom passed away and we almost didnt go. Kyle, his friend and roommate Dewey, and I took the road trip to see the Mountaineers take on Michigan. At some point I just decided that we had to be there and that it would be good to get out of town. It was a magnificent afternoon. The outcome may be different this Saturday, but then again, nobody thought they would pull off the upset in 2007. Well, almost nobody!
