September 21st 2010 was the day the doctors at Brooklyn hospital performed an emergency c-section to deliver my beautiful beautiful daughter brooke-Lynn she was born at 33 weeks, a little bit early but she was ready. She was delivered at 4:23 am very quiet at first then a very light and bubbly cry. Her lungs werent ready yet but since she was a descent size and 5 lbs she only stayed a week. We bought her home at 4lbs. After 4 days in the hospital she was breathing on her own without the machine. She has always been independent. She wants no help. My little Brooke is the sweetest little angel and although I took the worst of it. Not lactaiding and taking forever to recover and with no pain medication and being on pelvic rest, on top of that I had the post parnum depression I still found the strength I needed to put her first. Dealing with a colicky premature baby while Im trying to recover from mental and physical illness wasnt easy, but I did it and it was worth it. I know if I can deal with that I can deal with anything. It taught me patience if anything. And I couldnt believe what I was able to do. That God made me that strong. Having her changed me cause it showed me I am much stronger and capable of doing things I couldnt imagine. That first week without her was hard but I knew God knew what he was doing. Thank you lord for sending this little angel in my life. Happy fourth birthday Brooke-Lynn Jolee Banks mommy loves you so much!❤
