At first he had some doubts, but he eventually agreed, but decided to continue also in British Supersport. After a short time Kev came to the conclusion that he has to quit with BSB, to devote that season to Superstock 1000 with DMC Racing team. In the last year we got the opportunity to take part in World Supersport on Kawasaki with Vladimir Ivanov and Kev as our riders. It was my first real experience as a race engineer, working with full electronics and with professional systems. Unfortunately, in the middle of the season we had an accident (terrible fall and injury of Vladimir Ivanov in Imola) and Vova was replaced with Alex Ivanov. Together we succesfully finished season-2013. This year we switched to Yamaha YZF-R6, and I am here again in the position of engineer of world level team. In RSBK international and national series I was working with telemetry data for Vova Ivanov and Alex, organizing at the same time provision of spare parts, and doing other general work. Там мы провели сезон, а я приобрел первый опыт работы с серьезными гоночными мотоциклами. На следующий год мы решили ехать в Superstock 1000 FIM Cup. Тогда как раз вышел новый Ducati Panigale, и мы были одной из двух команд, которые поехали в стоке на этом мотоцикле. Тогда же мы познакомились с шотландским пилотом Кевом Когланом (Кев уже стал чемпионом Европы) и пригласили его выступать за нашу команду. Сначала он долго сомневался, но в итоге согласился, причем параллельно ездил в British Supersport. Через короткое время Кев пришел к выводу, что стоит отказаться от BSB, и все время посвятить Stock 1000 c нашей командой. В прошлом году у DMC появилась возможность проехать World Supersport на мотоциклах Kawasaki, уже работая вместе с Вовой Ивановым, как гонщиком, и Кевом. Это был мой первый серьезный опыт как гоночного инженера, работы с полной электроникой и с хорошими системами. К сожалению, в середине сезона у нас произошла авария (страшное падение и травмы Иванова в Имоле), и Вову Иванова заменил Леха Иванов. Вместе мы завершили прошлый сезон. В этом году мы поменяли мотоциклы на Yamaha YZF R6, а я остался на позиции инженера в «мировой» команде. В Кубке RSBK я помогаю с данными телеметрии Вове Иванову и Лехе Иванову, параллельно занимаясь организацией поставки запчастей, общей работы и прочего.
