Session Start on Monday with a welcoming morning tea with Landgate Staff where we mingled ourselves with them with. So funny, that although we are neighbours, they did not know where my beautiful country KIRIBATI is! So they were so curious to know about my beloved country. After lunch, we started with presentation from each country participant. A voluntarily is needed to start a presentation so I offer to go first....lol.. There were quite a number of Landgate Staff who were there as audience and who were quite interesting to know more about each participants country and background. My topic is, A Paradise in the Sea of Peril : Kiribati - A Nation going under water. It is only a brief introduction of my beloved country, a brief history of it and so forth. I ended my presentation with a photo of myself floating in the middle of the lagoon! I said, In 30 or 50 years time, Kiribati will be underwater and the lady in the picture will be floating or find another land to live in! Hope they will get my message across. Anyway,thanks to Naomi Atataua, Timetaake Baiteke, Maere Baiteke Tekanene for the photos for I used some of them for my presentation. Kam rabwa ngkami.
