Setters Camp July 29-Aug 2 5:00pm-7:00pm Cost to setter: $50 per setter ($5 an hour) Athletes must be going into 9th grade through 12th grade. Overview Each day of the camp will focus on a specific aspect of setting mechanics as well as specific setting skills. Setters will be doing a high number of repetitions to gain consistency and accuracy. There will be no hitters and no defensive players at this camp. Setters will work their brain as much as their muscles. Setters need to show up in shape and mentally prepared to work! The goal of this camp is to enhance the setters current skill level and further their leadership and logic skills. Day 1- Focus on Footwork, forward sets Day 2- Focus on Hands, back sets Day 3 – Focus on follow through, jump setting, and setter attack Day 4 – Focus on movement from base setting position, overpass strategy, setting the back row Day 5 – Focus on deception skills, peripheral vision skills, and set choice.
