Seven “I AM” statements are made by our Lord. The “I AM” applies to every area of your life and will be your unexpected surplus. When you need fruit, “I am the true vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit…” (John 15:1). When you need direction in life, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). When you need protection and shelter, “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11). When you are locked out, “I am the open door” (John 10:9). When you are thirsty and try to fill your emptiness with money or material things, but instead reach a point of dehydration, “I am the living water” (John 4:10). When your dreams and hopes seem dead, “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25).
