Shadow Human Devevopment Organization with collaboration RDOCC Ghotki arranged speech competition on topic “Role of Industries in Social Development” at Pakistan Foundation Daharki. However, in above competition Government and Private schools of Daharki Taluka participated. Students made speeches in English, Sindhi and Urdu about said topic and emphasized on management of all industries to release CRC and other legal funds, such as 10 percent of their annual income on Education, health, social infrastructure and development. Moreover, programme was commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after recitation the chairman of Shadow Human Development Organization Zahid Bhanger introduced about his organization and made clear agenda of Speech Competition. Afterwards, different people of every walk of life political, social, literal activities delivered speeches. Jamal Bhutto president QAT Ghotki said, “ The local people have long been made jobless and industries like Engro, FFC, Mari Petroleum, OGDCL, Tulo Gas field and small industries are exploiting local people’s rights in every respect. Aftab Farooqi incharge human rights desk Ghotki passed comments that if suppressed, repressed people contact with us about their right exploitation we shall take action according to law”. Syed Peeral Shah stressed on practical steps to be taken against right snatching. Raja Mujeeb an active social activist worker delivered speech and made audience understand about Supreme Court current decision about CRC funds and its way of implementation in district Ghokti. Chief coordinator RDOCC Ghotki Sikander Oghai briefed about number of Small industries and large industries and explained law about legal right of common people being first hand effective of poisonous ammonium Gas, industries waste and their hazards. He concluded that our inside earth water has been sonic, the number of Hepatitis patients have been multiplied and in spite of countless social environment and health issues, the management of industries have turned deaf ear. So in this regard, civil society of district Ghotki needs to have an active social activism to get their rights. In last speech participants were awarded with medals and trophies. In English speech first position was awarded for Zubair Hussain Channa belonging Madina Public School, second position was earned by Fiaz Sarfaraz student of Oxford Model School & Third Position earned by Amir Mavia Students of Roshan Tara Public school. This programme was attend by a large number of audience from all segments of society.
