Shalam to all who seek truth and understanding. We must ask ourselve what is truth according to the Bible? and Who is Truth? Knowing this can help you better serve the Most High through his Son. Its important to know the Truth because the truth shall set you free spirtualy. So let us then examine what is Truth and Who is Truth. What is the Truth? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psalms 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth. Precepts to Psalms 119:142: Psalms 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. Tobit 14:9 But keep thou the law and the commandments, and shew thyself merciful and just, that it may go well with thee. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Ephesians 1:13-14 whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (In Psalms 119:142 it said "and thy law is thr truth".) Psalms 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (David said lead me in thy truth which is the Law, and he said teach him with his law.) Psalms 26:3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. (David said that he have walked in thy truth, meaning thy law.) Psalms 43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. (He said that the Most High God of Israel truth endureth to all generations, meaning his Law endureth to all generations.) (All this evil has come upon the children of Israel who are the 12 Tribes, but notice in verse 13 it says all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.) John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (The scripture says he that doeth truth cometh to the light. He that doeth the law cometh to the light.) John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (The scripture says that God (AHAYAH) is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth, the truth is the law.) John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (Ye shall know the truth the law, and the truth the law shall make you free, meaning spirtual free.) John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Sanctify - 1. To purify or free from sin. 2. To make holy. (Its said sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is the truth. This precepts to John 14:6.) Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? (Paul said am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? Paul preached the law wheresoever he went so I can see why people became his enemy because the law is Christ and the world hated him.) 1 Esdras 4:38 As for the truth, it endureth, and is always strong; it liveth and conquereth for evermore. (Its says as for the truth, it endureth, and is always strong; it liveth and conquereth for evermore. This links to Baruch 4:1.) Ecclesiasticus 17:11 Beside this he gave them knowledge, and the law of life for an heritage. (It says that the Most High God gave us the law of life for an heritage. That being the truth, Christ Jesus (Yashaya).) Who is the Truth (Law)? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Precepts to John 14:6: Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. John 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (Jesus who is Yashaya said that he is the way, the truth (Law), and the life. We see that Christ is the Law because the Law is the truth, this links directly to Baruch 4:1 n the Apocrypha.) Matthew 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Christ said think not that I come to destroy the law, or the prohpets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. He can not to destroy the law, because he is the law.) What will happen to those who dont want to hear the Truth (Law)? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. Precepts to Proverbs 28:9: 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Psalms 66:18-19 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: 19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Luke 13:25-27 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. (As we read we se those who turn away their ear from hearing the law, even their prayer shall be an abomination.) 2 Esdras 7:20-21 For there be many that perish in this life, because they despise the law of God that is set before them. 21 For God hath given strait commandment to such as came, what they should do to live, even as they came, and what they should observe to avoid punishment. Perish - To suffer spiritual death. (In 2 Esdras chapter 7 it says "For there be many that perish in this life, because they despise the law of God that is set before them.") Baruch 4:1 This is the book of the commandments of God, and the law that endureth for ever: all they that keep it shall come to life; but such as leave it shall die. (All those who walk away or dont keep the law shall die, but those that keep it shall come to life.) Conclusion -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The whole conclusion of this study lesson was to show people that all those that worship the Most High must worship him in the spirit and truth, the truth being the law which is hes Son the Messiah. We must have and understanding of what laws was done away with so we can fully serve the Most High throgh his Son the Messiah. 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Precept to 3 John 1:4: 1 Corinthians 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
