Shane Parkins, dealer principal, Mercedes-Benz Brisbane has just started some serious training having just signed up for the Larapinta Trail Challenge (12-19 Aug) to raise funds for ACT For Kids. The challenge will consist of an eight day trek through the Alice Springs along one of Australia’s most iconic desert treks, walking along the high ridgelines of the West MacDonnell Ranges and climbing Mt Sonder to gain a rare perspective of vast flood plains, the razorback rocky outcrops and sheer scale of this ancient land.
