Sharing from a press release from the Family of Eugene Ellison in Little Rock. **PLEASE BE ADVISED that on December 9, 2014, marking the 4th Anniversary of the unlawful shooting of Eugene Ellison, attorneys for the Ellison family will hold a press conference at the Allison Presbyterian Church, located at 22 Wright Ave., Little Rock, AR. Topics to be discussed include: 1) the offending officers’ appeal to the 8th Circuit court which will be argued on Thursday, Dec. 11 in St. Louis, MO; 2) the Ellison family’s recent request of the Dept. of Justice to investigate the LRPD for its practices and customs regarding the improper use deadly force and internal investigation cover-ups; and 3) recent employment retaliation experienced by Sgt. Troy Ellison at the hands of his employer, LRPD, as a result of his family’s quest for justice.
