Sharing the below from a friends post - highlights the double standards others indulge in (with minor formatting changes): ================================== ...Further id like to raise the following Questions-- Q: 1) Did the oppn move EC in 2004 when SoGa Made Maut Ka Saudagar Comment? Zehere Ki Kheti..more recently? Was an FIR filed against SoGa for this hate speech then? 2) Between 2004 and 2014, myriad hate speeches have been made by the serial offenders: SP & Cong, wondering what the ECs stance has been on those? How many FIRs have been filed? Whats been the Outcome for myriad such? We know the answer. 3) Sharad Pawar: proposed Bogus double voting to voters in his constituency? Last i heard Dr Kirit Somaiya of the BJP (bless him) moved poll commission, filed FIRs did all that was required--sadly for whatever reasons--as always BJP lost the communication battle on that (even when it was advantage BJP), despite the efforts made. I have done close to a case study on that episode on my wall..hence wont repeat..happy to share details (tomorrow for the benefit of others, when on laptop, right now typing this squint-eyed, hoping someone responsible will read this. Bear with me on this--while i attempt to make my point.. 4) YoYadav--as we have all opined (myself included, rather explicitly on ur wall here) Aag Lag Jayegi: again, fear mongering explicitly--was poll panel moved? Was an FIR issued? What has the EC done about it? I would be very interested to know, as would most of us, yourself included. 5) Imran Masood: We have said enuf, hence again wont repeat--the guy when released on bail as he walks out--openly tells a reporter, he has no regrets and maintains he will teach mr Modi a lesson?? No remorse? Which means that man is by and large a looming threat--still? What has the EC done about it? Anyone keeping a close watch on him--he shud be turned in on the next such utterance he makes…pronto. 6) Less than a week ago--i chanced to see, some guy from SP called Narendra Bhatti guy ( same person who ousted the honest IAS office for doing her job--Durga Shakti Nagpal). He does a Sharad Pawar. Brazenly makes a call to flout poll code. Caste Bogus vote. He is CAUGHT on Camera and that déclassé CM Akhilesh Uadav supports him (in his speech) and back him? This after this Bhatti man has the gumption to (on camera) tell his voters--SP Govt will take care of any cases launched against them if they are caught casting bogus votes, so never mind..go commit crime confidently….sans any fear? Says rogue Bhatti from the rogue party SP of UP. This was shown on a loop on Headlines Today last week--ANYone filed an FIR? ANYone moved the poll panel? Has the EC asked for tapes..yet?? I suppose we know the answer. 7) And then the curious case of another Minister in the SP Govt : Minister Of Home: Jaishankar Pandey? I dont know whether to laugh or cry? He has a Non-Bailable arrest warrant for two years. He is officially supposed to be absconding but in reality he is campaigning for SP. And Cops providing him security too? Anyone cared to move the EC poll panel on this? Headlines today was showing this on a LOOP. What has been the outcome? Has he been arrested finally? 8) SoGa defiles and mutilates “secularism” with her secular appeals to ensure secular votes are not split? The Imam Bukhari episode--Somoen suggested on twitter--SoGa shud be booked under law for asking religious leaders to ensure enblock votes through masjid campaign. No leader did it before. I am guessing the poll panel has been moved on this by the BJP, right. Has the EC done anything about it yet? if so what? 9) A Kolkata imam talks Jihad should BJP win (March 30th piece in the HT by wonder of wonders..none other than Prashant Jha. Has anyone reacted to something like this? 10) And against *this* backdrop--Mr Amit Shah- reminds people of their right to vote, and repose faith in the democracy and use ballot over Bullet, and vote for BJP..to avenge their humiliation faced in the hands of SP & Congress and rightly so--these two parties have been named by by the SC too isnt it? And that becomes a hate-speech. SO: Who decides that--The serial offenders Cong & SP? Or the poodle complicit media. The same guys who were co-conspirators in this propaganda to *somehow* drag Mr Amit Shah to get Mr Modi…by making mischief, releasing the clip selectively to stir a controversy 2 days before the first vote is cast for the most critical election of the largest democracy since independence? If anyone--those responsible in the MSM for this need to be sued and called out and held accountable. Desperate measures…scraping the bottom of the barrel…Sic! , The truth does *not* belong to he who shouts the loudest…or repeats the lie on a LOOP! ====================================== Or maybe it does :( Maybe Goebbels did have a point after all :( :(
