Sharing this because its worth the read!! So many people are so quick to share stories about bad cops, cops being unfair. No one shares the positive, yet when shit goes down who are they expecting to help?? Im sure if I post all the stories of bad soliders the ones that rape and steal and break the laws the ones who use the line I fight for your freedom as an excuse to use and exploit people Id get all kinds of backlash. How dare you they put their lives on the line for their country. Really? Sounds familiar, but soldiers dont give you speeding tickets right. Lets face it there are bad ppl in all professions. There are asshat soliders, asshat cops, asshat surgeons and asshat cashiers. They all give their profession a bad name by providing bad service. There are bad cops, ppl who use the uniform same as in the military. They should be held accountable. But we should not forget that these professions are selfless. There are so many proud to wear the uniform that do try to make a difference and be a hero. Many police officers are former soliders choosing to continue their service to their country. Its also a job like any other. There are laws they have to enforce and areas to patrol even if they dont want to. I know first hand now the things they see and the limitations they face. Its not always as clear as it may seem. I know there are shitty officers out there but I choose to acknowledge and raise up those doing it well in hopes it encourages more good ppl to wear the badge. :) I love my good officer. And while the officers in this story wish to remain anonymous I thank them all the same.
