Shaykh ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When two opponents refer to a Muslim, he must judge between them with justice, even if one of them is a Muslim and the other is a disbeliever. For example, when a disbelieving plaintiff claims that a Muslim took his car or any other thing, the judge must arbitrate against the Muslim if the disbeliever has legal evidence. - Majmoo al Fatawa al Shaykh ibn Baz (8/184)
