She gathered together scraps of fabric, snippets of lace, vintage buttons and anything else that caught her eye. Then she threaded her needle and began to stitch. When she was finished she looked at what she had created and it made her happy. And Im happy, I finished this new stitchery today....... I arranged and rearranged for an hour or so before I was happy with the placement of all the different bits and pieces. Sometimes its so hard to make a decision, so many options, but then you know when its just right. This little stitchery measures approx 17cms x 19 cms (6 1/2 x 7 1/2) and hangs from a rustic, handmade, wire hanger. Its made with love, oh and I also used recycled, woollen blanket, tea dyed lace, an embroidered serviette, vintage buttons and a snippet of new fabric.......
