Then on the last day of the trial, assistant prosecutor Kathi Alzadeh handed the jurors the current Missouri law regarding shooting an assailant, telling them the old law was incorrect, yet failing to tell them which part. A confused juror then asked, doesnt the Federal Supreme Court override Missouri statutes? Alizadeh responded, as far as you need to know, just dont worry about that. And they didnt. This White Wash was a slam dunk for social injustice, leading to nationwide protests against this miscarriage of justice.
