Shelter For Destitute Expats ---> A NEW purpose-built shelter will soon be launched to support expatriates in crisis. The Thank You Bahrain Shelter Project was officially announced by the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) yesterday during a ceremony held at the Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa in Seef. The residential sanctuary will provide legal, medical and emotional support to expats who run into difficulties in Bahrain. A temporary accommodation is being set up in the next few weeks to house a handful of people who find themselves homeless or in need of help. However, organisers hope the shelter, which can accommodate up to 100 people, will open its doors next year.
