Shep had us cracking up in the nursery tonight. He is still a bit wobbly, and hes such a chunk, and his eyes are so big, it takes an expression several seconds to cover his face, which makes him seem really...well, like a cute, dumb, precious baby. So tonight, he was doing tricks with this little oval-shaped storage bucket. First, he turned it upside down and got on top of it on all fours - I swear, he looked like a baby circus elephant, BARELY fitting on top of it - and once he was there, he looked around with that naive expression of his and slowly lifted one leg and held it suspended in the air for a couple of seconds. We all clapped and he slowwwwly smiled and lowered himself back down, wobbling all the way. Then, he flipped the bucket over and slowwwwly squeezed himself into it before slowwwwly looking back up at us with that slowwwww smile spreading across his face... and this time he clapped along with us. Slowly, of course. I think I love him.
