Shooting Leaves Man Injured On January 3rd at 8:00 PM, deputies responded to a home at 2860 E. Possum Court in Inverness, in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, deputies located two subjects, Joshua Roberts, 30, and Angel Rodriquez, 40, outside of the residence. Both lived at this address. Rodriguez said the two had an argument and Roberts pulled a knife on him, leading Rodriguez to shoot Roberts. Roberts was transported from the scene by EMS and remains hospitalized. Rodriquez was found to be a convicted felon and was arrested for being in possession of a firearm. Detectives are working to determine exactly what happened and if charges should be brought forth.
