Short version of my tribute to Grandma though I didnt get to say - TopicsExpress

Short version of my tribute to Grandma though I didnt get to say it yesterday. Grandma was one of the greatest women who ever lived. She highly impacted all the people she met. She instilled strong christian values on her children who instilled them to their children. For me it was an honour to be named after her. As I said earlier grandma taught us generosity. She took foodstuffs wherever she went. She arrived at my doorstep when my baby was born with my favorite fermented porridge and lots of goodies. This gesture despite her being ill meant more to me than she could imagine. I always marvelled at grandmas salvation having embraced Christ early. As her health failed she never once complained but contined to trust God till her last breath. I constantly prayed for her. When we visited her last I had a feeling it was to say goodbye and last week as she rested I knew in my heart she had truly finished her work. I know I speak for my siblings when I say The woman we laid to rest will be highly missed. It was evident as we left her home and what a warm home it was! The Lords name be blessed for the blessing of such a great, God fearing and truly loving and rare woman. Amen. Uncle Wataty. All your nieces hearts went out to you yesterday. We knew what it meant for you not to have made it home on time.
