Shot these photos this morning. NO, Im NOT in Australia, this is at our place - Springs Flat, Kamo, Whangarei, New Zealand :-) We have heard a Kookaburra laugh twice over the last month or so but havent seen it. While feeding the hens, some Mynas were making quite a racket. Looked high up in the Gum trees and there it was. Followed it around taking heaps of photos when it flew around from tree to tree. Finally it gave a laugh and flew away.
