Shouldnt Delhi Government have atleast some power over Police? What if Police refuses to file an FIR. Where does the citizen go? To Mr Shinde? Or to Delhi state government? What will state government do because the police will say, I dont come under Delhi govt, so get lost and still wont register FIR. If AAP demands such a police person to be suspended for not doing his work, UPA will say, nobody will get suspended, get lost Delhi Govt. What option does Delhi Govt has now? Delhi Government should have SOME control over Delhi Police, transfer/temporary suspension must be a power that Delhi Govt should be given. So that Delhi Govt can force police to work towards welfare of citizens.
