Shout out to Port Washington and Ozaukee County Sheriff Dept for helping recover my stolen bike! Been missing since Spring but it only took a homemade flyer made yesterday and less than 2 hours following for them to track it down! I will be donating to a local Port Washington Charity that’s linked to the Police Dept in Port Washington for going the EXTRA mile! Thank You again! I guess the lesson learned is to never Lend something to a friend who cannot replace it or take care of it. Next lesson learned is to know who your friends are and hoping that they have the common courtesy to communicate with you or just doing the right thing… perhaps ask what they can do to help right a situation that went wrong. IT’S NOT ABOUT MONEY... I guess another lesson I am learning as I get older is that people just don’t seem to practice what they preach or act on when something is good has gone now bad… it’s disappointing that these are the people that claim to be and suppose themselves to be “friends”… It seems that it comes down to which has more value to people – friendship or their pride… Im sorry if this offends anyone - but just a little venting. P>S - I also have some photos here if anyone who has a missing bike in Port Washington. Theres at least 100 here that has not been claimed.
