Shri Krishna Janmastmi is a hugely special time to me. Today after waiting in standstill traffic, parking in the middle of nowhere and cutting across a fence I finally got a glimpse of the birthday baby at Bhakti Vendanta Manor (Watford Hare Krishna Temple). Of course this is barely a struggle, but at one stage we were about to turn back as we were getting nowhere. After finding another route we thankfully made it and my heart filled up with joy, by his mercy only. This is life, this little incident represents our daily struggle and how important it is not to loose faith (in whatever you believe in). Sometimes you will have to try an alternative method to try and meet your goals, but dont stop believing! To me, Shri Krishnas divine leela is perfectly filled with all the qualities to help me lead a more positive life. When there is nobody in the dark, I find him in is all loving, all caring, all accepting dark form. I sincerely wish each and everyone of you a Very Happy Janmastmi! let it be a time of hope, a time to love and of course a time be hypnotised by his cheeky charm! It was an absolute pleasure meeting and greeting so many of you today! Still in shock at how much love and support you all send my way (my parents also believe that people watch my videos now!) Thank you for making my Janmastmi even more special and joy filled. I truly hope your darshan put a smile on your face and bought comfort and festive spirit wherever you are in the world! Take todays mandir trip as an opportunity to dig a little deeper into who Krsna is and why he is. I have only managed to become an entertainer through understanding myself spiritually!
