Sigh........gotta go to work, didnt I just get up??? I hate to say this, but ive got to sell Prince. Last night was my one chance to ride him and instead I fell asleep at 3pm and didnt wake until 3am. The curse of having to work Saturday night to Sunday morning. Ugggh! Poor Prince. For all I know he had no water Sunday. He is SO sweet, loves people, perfect health, outstanding conformation, small perfect feet for a draft horse. Hes 9 yrs old & just losing his coltish ways. He is a curly percheron crossed with Morgan, with a double mane, straight nose, tail thick & hangs to the ground. Trained for buggy, smooth trot to ride. Voice controlled. I ride him bareback. Needs some trail experience & outdoor de-sensitizing. Carries his head beautifully. Comes to the bit & takes it in his mouth. Has never kicked or hurt a human. Behaves for the farrier. Goes TO the mounting block to be ridden, he knows my hip doesnt work so he steps up & leans in to me so I can get on. He loves people & has that ears up, wide big eyes look most of the time. He fears a whip & will not perform if a whip is present. I assume he was whipped when he was a colt & the young boys who had him wanted him to run faster in harness. He bows his head to accept the harness yoke over his shoulders. Make a great large gentlemans horse. Is anyone interested?
