Sign code update: Last week Rogers City Council passed an updated overlay district expansion in Rogers which extends along W. Walnut St from Interstate I-540 east to South 8th Street from W. Walnut St to the south city limits; along Highway 62 from the east city limits to the west city limits; along State Highway 12 from 2nd St to the east city limits; along New Hope Rd from Dixieland Rd to Interstate I-540; and along Interstate I-540 from the north city limits to the south city limits. Pleasant Grove Rd from South 8th St (U.S. 71B) to Bellview. This change will require all new signs to comply with the current sign code. This update does not affect current signs but does require new businesses to comply with sign code in overlay district. The main factors are overall height of 6’ and square footage of 72 square feet.
