Signs 9-29-13 Some people say they see signs of things to come or things past. This is biblical; there are prophets, more so in biblical days versus now. I guess we are so hurried and occupied with other things that we just don’t take time to listen to ourselves or others. It is easier to say; oh they just want others to think they are special, and some have been told they are just crazy, there is no such thing, but it is in the bible. When we think we have seen something in our, or others future, that is the time to be asking God if it is real, and if it is, for His help to carry it out correctly according to His word. That is to heavy of a load to carry by yourself, you may mean well, but without guidance from the Lord, someone’s life, or even yours, may be destroyed. We have to be very careful, because the devil can also plant things in our minds. That is why we need to pray for guidance. Our parents, in times past, used signs of the moon, stars, and sunset to plant fields, and also to harvest. Our bones have been said to predict rain or cold weather. Other signs are for directions. As we are driving down the road, sometimes we wonder why there are so many, but every one is needed. And then, especially if we are in a new town, and we don’t know which way to go, we appreciate a sign that tells us if there is curve or on coming traffic. I know we try to obey them all, especially the stop sign, but there is one STOP that is not for me! I will praise and tell about my God. On one has the right to even try to stop me!
