Silver House Decluttering Event/Give and Take Day WHEN:Saturday 7th February 2015 WHERE:Unit 8/12 Ryefield Crescent,Northwood,HA6 1LT PARKING:There is metered parking on the main road ( two minutes walk away from the event) with 30 minutes free parking.There is no parking outside the warehouse unless you are quickly unloading and then leaving) TIME: 12-3.30pm ( giving and taking will take place at the same time) THINGS TO BRING: Household items CDs,Books,Videos, DVDs, toys, clothes,sports gear, bric-a-brac,.gifts,jewellery,unopened toiletries/cosmetics,small electrical items in working condition,small pieces of furniture . We can also take bookcases and clothes rails ( but no other large items) Please ONLY BRING items that are in good condition and ready to be used. WE CANT ACCEPT: Dirty/broken items in need of repair this includes dirty clothes and broken electrical Items, Toiletries/cosmetics ( that have been opened), knives,sharp or dangerous objects, Large pieces of furniture. Please ONLY BRING items that are in good condition and ready to be used. If you bring any items we cant accept you will have to take them back with you. CAN I ONLY BRING ITEMS ON THE DAY? We would prefer you to bring any items you want to donate on the day. However if you cant attend on the day or want to drop off items before Saturday 7th February 2015 let us know and we will arrange a day/time for you to drop them off. WHAT IS A GIVE AND TAKE DAY? Give & Take Events are FREE community events and a great way for you to pass on items you no longer want, that are in good condition and working order for others to reuse. You can even pick up something new. No money is exchanged and lots of useful items are diverted from landfill. The aim of a Give and Take event is to reduce, reuse and recycle - the three R’s - enabling you to give and take usable items in an easy and sustainable way. Everyone is welcome and you dont have to give to take. So have a look around and see if you have any items you no longer want or are using.
