SimondaGrump needs to change a NYS Education Law. This law pertains to Restraint and Seclusion methods used in our educational settings . Now I could go through proper protocol BUT I wont live long enough to go that route and see it through. I know I cannot stop this practice through out our state or nation for that matter . But someone ,somewhere has to start someplace. SimondaGrump has decided to be that someone and here is the place. I will revise that law for all Monroe County educational settings with oversight and strict reporting guidelines should R&S be used. Hopefully other counties will follow ,then the state and the nation. Instead of waiting for proper protocol to work its bureaucratic ways , I say lets dance now . Ten months is much better than 10 years in my book. Of course theres plenty of issues to deal with in our county . The past 12 years of the current County Executives leadership, has had more scandals than Watergate all with no accountability on her part other than Gee I didnt know about that. Exactly !!
