Since Chad had his previous stent in put in three weeks ago, he was still feeling discomfort and fatigue. His itching continued and so Monday morning I made a call to his doctors here in Twin Falls and Salt Lake, to seek a solution and understanding why this was happening. He had some labs taken and the worst news I could ever imagine again, and so soon, was given to us. Chads PSC has returned. The good news is that it hasnt done any damage to liver as far as cirrhosis properties. The doctor is very optimistic on maintaining it and still providing Chad with a good quality of life, until the time comes for a second transplant. Hopefully that is many years down the road. Tuesday he went in for another ercp and it was discovered that the previous stent had migrated out down towards his intestine, hence, why he was still feeling ill. That one was removed, blockaded was cleared, and two stents were placed and secured. Chad seems to be doing better now, hopefully he will start to feel like himself again after we are over this hurdle. Chads spirits and attitude are so amazing he is always so strong, even in times of hardships.
