Since Facebook seems to be the place to make what you have to say heard...Im going to use it just so I can set a few things straight. Obviously its got around that Inferno Studios kicked Kevin Lee out. For everyone who thinks that shop is a humble place with humble people, you should probably hear the crap that gets said about clients after they leave. How most of them get made fun of by the guys that work there. With an exception of Patrick and maybe Kaitlyn...the rest are a bit shady. Now, I had no intention of bashing that shop even after what they did to Kevin. However, since Im hearing and seeing post that their dragging Kevins name through the mud, I want people to know some things that Ive witnessed and heard personally. For starters, when all this started with them opening up shop in Ridgway and merging with Kevins shop, Kevin was suppose to be part owner. Which he got cut out of from the start..which was done behind his back by Bob and Rich. Whatever, Kevin was happy just being a part of the inferno family and going further with his tattooing. He looked up to them. And was promised a lot of things by Bob. Kevin knew there were areas in his work that needed to be improved. Bob boosted Kevins confidence so much with promises that he would teach him and show him how to better his work. But all Kevin got was a good job nice work. Did Kevin quit? No. He still tried to be the best artist he could. With hopes that he would, soon, get what was promised to him when the subject came up to merge shops. Im not saying Inferno does bad work. They dont. You all can see that. My thing is though, dont pretend to be a humble person and make every one believe your someone your not. Kevin had some flaws in his work, he knew that. That shop also knew Kevin was self taught. Kevin was completely betrayed in every aspect by people who, him himself, thought were the greatest. In the end, Kevin helped this shop get set up over here just to have his clients poached from him and lose everything he tried to build his self, with promises that were intentionally broken to him. Kevin is not a bad guy, and is an inspiring artist. Who just wants to go further with his tattooing. Hes not sitting here bad talking any one which is currently being done to and about him by the humble people from that shop. Hes pissed. Who wouldnt be after having everything taken from him and get treated like a joke? He got pushed out. But, and Im not saying this because Im with him or because hes the father of my children, Im saying this because its a fact. Kevin is much more honest, and Im so tired of hearing this word because of that shop so Im using for the word humble a lot, but hes more humble then the ones at that shop talk behind their clients backs and makes fun of them. I was part of that shop for a little while, Ive heard it all with my own ears. So please, before you go believing anything you hear come out of the mouths of the people who pushed Kevin out..remember most of you have known Kevin for a long time..you know who and how he is and what he stands for. He got burned from Inferno. Its actually, for me, a lot less stressful knowing he doesnt have to try living up to someones so called standards, when theyve never wanted him there in the first place. And...Id just like to say Fourth Floor would probably be a better choice to get inked if you dont want talked about behind your back by Inferno to the next person who sits in their chair after you leave. Nice to your face, but not behind your back. But hey, if you dont mind being treated that way and want nice work...then Inferno is the place to get your ink done :)
