Since I started rescue alot of people have asked why rabbits? They are boring and smelly and meant for a cage(if I was stuck in a cage for years on end with no interaction or cleaned...id also be boring and stinky) Why rabbits?Well why not? Rabbits are seriously overlooked and the poster child of neglect in the companion animal category. They are loving,gentle and intelligent little beings that thrive in social environments. With any pet you get out what you put in! As with any relationship, if you are prepared to take the time to bond and earn the trust of a little creature (that by nature is timid and skittish) you know you deserve every last cuddle,dance and skip around your feet when you walk in that door at the end of the day. So why Rabbits? Because they are perfect thats why...and if I can make a difference for just one then I know my life has made a difference. When I met my beautiful princess Tofu my entire perception of trust and love changed,if I could get a tiny little animal that was bred for some reptiles breakfast to love me,trust me and be my companion then there was definitely something worth giving...so I decided to give as many as I could that same chance.the chance to find their human and be safe from all harm. Be the change,give a bunny a chance I promise you will never ever regret it ♡
