Since more people in the group are making it vocal that they read actual comics and would like to discuss them, I will again share my brief thoughts on the last 8 books I read recently, from best to less best. Here we go, stash devourer part 2: #1 - New Avengers 22. Big things happen. A member leaves and begins a dark journey of destruction. NA only keeps getting better. #2 - Saga 22. There was a moment in this book where I laughed so hard it hurt. Story wise, sadness begins to bloom and truths are piecing together. #3 - The Goon: Occasion of Revenge 2. If youve never read a Goon comic before, this a great jumping on point. The culmination of past stories come together to bring this fresh tale. Hop on before the movie comes out! #4 - Justice League United 4. Bonds are formed and a team is born. A team that never seems to be out of the sight of trouble. If you read pre-52 sci-fi R.E.B.E.L.S., you will love JLU. It has the same feel with all the obscure and random DC aliens, big ideas, and character driven stories. #5 - Amazing Spider-Man 5. Spidey and Silk cant keep off of each other due to some intense biology. Black Cat continues her path of revenge, allying herself with some big hitters. She ends up having SM in a very vulnerable position. #6 - Spread 2. A truly twisted tale of survival and miracles. A milky new cast member is added to the insanity. And No is a total boss. #7 - Avengers Undercover 9. The issue before the finale. A lot of powers are developed, hands are revealed and the final showdown begins as the competition gets amped. Reunited, but it may not feel so good. #8 - Batman and Robin 34. Too much set up already. Bruce rounds up his birdies and gets real with them as he begins his journey to Apokalips.
