Since she read the book The Chemistry Between Us, one of our editors became very convinced by social neuroscientists who study attraction from a biochemical perspective. They tend to believe that people fall in #love due to the molecules in their brain. According to this rather unromantic view of things, if someone produces hormones that excite yours, attraction happens. That leads to lust and that, in turn, often leads to love. Meanwhile, another of our editors believes that chemistry does not have such a big effect on human relations. She thinks that love is mostly determined through the emotional and intellectual connections you have with someone – this decision not being based on science, but on life experience. Proof is that people can easily fall in and out of love with someone. Whom do YOU agree with: pro-chemistry editor or pro-connection editor?
