Since so many of you had prayed for Elizabeth about her getting in to Meigs, I wanted to give you an update-------She loves it!!!!! She was so nervous the first day, but she has adjusted quickly and smoothly so far. After the first day she came home and wrote on her bedroom Windows(with window markers) school is cool first day was awesome and Im going to Meigs!! She seems for the first time to be somewhere where she really feels excited and challenged. She has already made several friends and she has been asked to learn to play the violin in her music class. I am so grateful to see her so happy!! Now the next thing will be to get her adjusted to all the homework and projects that she will begin doing as of next week. I know she is going to feel a little frustrated and overwhelmed at first(and so will I..lol) but in a few weeks I think she will be just fine.
