Since the election I have been reading and listening to a lot of the comments and one thing that strucked me consistently is that the electorate was (are) more concerned about what they believe they can get individually from the government rather than the greater good of the populace. The question I kept asking myself is this really a problem that exist among the electorate or as we the people of Antigua and Barbuda as a whole in general terms. So the song King Obstinate had a few years ago keeps popping up in my mind All of self and none of thee as he describes the attitude as he saw it is a part of our Nations society. Just a thought that I felt like sharing.
