Since the parking lot across the street from my apt. has been finished a couple months ago, I have been rollerblading a lot more! I have been inline skating most of my life and it has always been something that has given me an outlet to blow off steam,express myself and become physically strong. I have always considered myself a good skater, but here lately I have been getting a lot of positive feedback. In the past week three cars have parked to watch what I consider my evening workout, some people have even gone out of their way to ask me permission to watch for a while, and tell me I am talented. Being told you are talented about something that makes you happy is a very new and exciting feeling! I am really grateful the businesses across the street have not run me off, even the cities police officers have been kind to let me use main street as my playground. Small town living in Oklahoma can be really isolating and straight-up crappy sometimes,but this has been one of my favorite things about living in Miami! And.. You know what? I am so happy, I am going to use a hash tag properly! #SilverLining
