Since there are newbies always entering the csm world, and talking about the parts of their machines can be a challenge, because of knowing the names of the parts of a knitter, I took pictures of a Gearhart Knitter and posted them to the group Photos File, showing what I call the parts. The pictures and names show the GH, but basically apply to other knitters too, so hopefully this will aid in better communications when talking about machines and parts. https://facebook/media/set/?set=oa.10152529379737713&type=1
