Since time is so limited now as we get down to the wire to actually moving in less than a month (!), Im realizing just how much stuff we really have that cannot go with us! Aside from some things I need to sell, we might wish to donate a few things, rather than get tied up with possible problematic situations with Craigslist. Our overstuffed sofa and love seat, (good quality, purchased at Kornmeyers), while still in good structural condition, not broken down, and very cushy-comfy, are in need of slipcovers or recovering. Since the cost for that is even more than purchasing new furniture (no joke!), Im wondering of theres a charity (youth center?)or anyone in the area who might be in need of it. They would have to come pick it up since we have no way to move anything with either of our vehicles. The fabric isnt torn or shabby, but after several years of eating in front of the TV, spilling coffee or wine, and having had a couple of dogs lying on or against it, there are a number of soiled places! If anyone has an idea of someone in need of such things, please let me know ASAP. Ill give details if anyone has questions about it. Again, any suggestions and/or advice are very much appreciated!
