Plus its IMITATION OF KUFFAR in Jewish & Christian customs woman must take husband’s name. Its HARAM in Islam to imitate kuffar. The wives of the Prophet (sallal lahu alaihi wasallam) DID NOT take the Prophets name…Ayesha radi allahu anha is referred to as Ayesha bint Abu Bakr not wife of the Prophet even though her father was just a Sahaba (radiallahu anha) If u have already changed ur last name, then apply for a Change of Name Certificate & put back ur fathers name..
