Sitting at St Pancras International Railway this morning, waiting to catch the Eurostar to Brussels. Then trains to Cologne, then Bielefeld. Was able to catch up with my Aunty Doris and my cuz Lisa Bartholomew last night. Had a great time even despite the mix up with the bus, trying to get tickets from the stupid ticket machine that wanted change (we only just had the 4 pounds 80 pence for our 2 tickets - thanks for your loose change Aunty Doris) and then getting off the bus 1 stop too soon! The hotel we stayed at last night was a dive with a capital D. A Brazilian bar with a band that played until midnight. Clients stayed and partied in the street afterwards, being inner city the police sirens and flashing lights lit our room up twice! The bathroom was up the stairs and I would bet lots of money that it is a fire hazard! We left before 6am managed to flag down a cab and got to the station asap! Have had our coffees and are just FBing to let you know we are all well! On our way to Germany to catch up with Stefan & Nelli, Christina and Aunts Hortense, Helga and hopefully Erica too! A long day on the train where Michael can google some more camera shops and I can do some knitting and we can both watch the countryside pass by. Much more relaxed for us as we spent a lot of time on trains last time we came to Europe. Anyway, enough chit chat for now, talk soon - bye :-) With Michael Stiller
