Sitting at my computer trying to register my kids for competition and Ive decided I need to start a dance competition handbook...whatever happened to competitions all having the same rules ie...time limits, medal scoring, categories. When I was a kid it was bronze, silver, high silver gold, high gold....in that order. That makes sense to me. Now its all gold diamond platinum ruby emerald???? Where so they come up with these???And if the names arent weird enough the rankings/order of these medals change depending on what competition youre at??? I cant keep track. Lol and seriously all solos used to be 3 mins and under...now every competition sets their own time limits and theyre all different. How are you supposed to register for multiple competitions if they all have different rules??? Thats it!!! Im starting my universal dance competition hand book tonight!!!! As soon as I finish registering my kids for all their competitions that is LOL
