Whoa.. radio silence finally broken with some very groovy updates! ** Folks, its that time of year where it’s kinda’ like we’re pulling up to the doors of The Last Chance to Dance Cafe for an evening concert here at the stands.. only 2 weeks until we wind things down for another wi- .. another wint- .. until next year so its a great time to stock up for back to school.. and beyond! To make it more better we’re doing deals on whole basket and second basket/same variety purchases along with some case-lot specials for preserving, sharing.. or hoarding! :) ** Not into canning and freezing? That’s ok, there’s plenty of summer treats for fresh eating while the sun still shines.. we’ve got Purple Rose Apriums, the cotton candy-ish Dapple Dandy plumcot, the explosive Flavor Grenade plumcot, and you can say that you were there to witness the comeback concert of the white and yellow Donut Peach Duet! ** Joining us on their reunion tour, our BC FRUIT (Sweetheart Cherries, Red Haven Peaches and Firebright Nectarines) have taken center stage backed by a rhythm section of local artists such as: Debruins Greenhouses, Mile Hill Organics, and Belluz Farms, with wild blueberries and backyard raspberries on vocals. ** We’re also keeping one mic open for our various Sweet Corn players. So far we’ve seen strong performances from Wisconsin and Minnesota and are looking forward to getting our socks rocked off with the arrival of the Manitoba and Thunder Bay ‘Super Sweets’ next week. **Back by popular demand and making a special unplugged (unprocessed, unwaxed, undipped, unfungicided and left-to-hang-on-the-tree-for-as-long-as-possible) appearance is the Organic Kent Mangos with flavor behaviors that are absolutely outrageous! Love ‘em or hate ‘em.. these mangos should not be missed! ** BC Sunrise Apples, Bartlett Pears and the Glowhaven Peach Experience are still to come next week along with some Ontario Watermelons and Asian Pears.. so stay tuned to this station!
