Slow day today due to the rain yesterday. Crops are being harvested and yields for corn are excellent. Yields for soybeans are hit or miss. I have noticed this year that if you planted earlier beans, your yields are higher than if you planted late beans. The reason is that the earlier beans were fully matured before the heat wave hit this summer, which caused the later beans to abort some pods. Just remember, we still are below the average rainfall. Stay safe this harvest!
