Snare Part - 9 Psalm 124:6-8 - Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord , Who made heaven and earth. A snare is among the oldest methods of trapping birds and animals. It is a simple contraption but it is very deadly. It is not dangerous if you leave it alone. If you find yourself in one do not fight against it because the more you fight, it tightens its deadly grip around you. So, what if somebody comes and offends you? If you respond offensively it tightens its deadly grip around you. You respond with love and forgiveness, you will be set free. Where do you normally lay a trap? It is laid in the path that you know the prey is going to walk by. Similarly Satan will lay a trap for you in areas where you have anxiety and situations where you take offence. He will put pressure in that area of your life through various people. You might be walking into your work place praying to the Lord to transfer a person because he is irritating you. In such a case your assignment should be to win over such people. Many cite various people for having made their life miserable. It is common to hear people say "I lost my job because of this person" or "I was so happy until I married this person and now my life is so miserable." This is futile reasoning. Even though people may go against you the plan of God for you remains the same; and it is the best plan for your welfare no matter how people judge you or mistreat you. Genesis 50:20 - But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
