Snowdon marathon. Pleasant scenery; supportive crowds, wonderfull marshalls and very well organised. Hilly course that is fabuously challenging and potentially wonderful - but not a week after a hard hard marathon. And after getting up 5 miles uphill, 30 m of downhill indicated back ache, hip ache, and difficulty moving. Ok until the big hill; where the downhilll was agony and was largely walked - fears from a broken foot run - and so a safety first approach was followed. Well done to everyone I know who did the run today. So many positive things coming out from the runners and deservedly so. I have back ache and remain as grumpy as ever... :)
