So, Arkansans... Do you really want the ACA repealed? Miller County went from 23% uninsured to 12% in just one year. Im one of them: I had been denied health coverage from 2010 until I got a policy on Healthcare.gov in 2014. Now Im covered and I pay for it. Exactly what do Arkansas politicians want to do with the ACA? Go back from 12% uninsured to 23%? Is that a good plan? Another thing is I am looking forward to a 2% reduction in my premium next year since Arkansas rates are expected to see a sight decrease. Thats a good reason, by the way, NOT to move to Texas as I plan the downsizing move I am going to make soon. My understanding is that Texas and Louisiana are expecting a double digit increase due to the fact that they did not expand Medicaid and have fewer people insured. Look at this map; open the link and look at your county and see with has happened with health coverage in the last year.
