So I am kind of new here. I am the owner of Romeo the year old longhair. He is SUPER sweet,SUPER smart,SUPER lovable and a SUPER,SUPER PROTECTIVE watch dog. This is my second dog I have had in my life. My first was an English pointer who was NEVER aggressive to anyone. I was just looking for some feedback. He goes INSANE when anyone comes to my door and I am nervous to let them in. I grab his collar,let him know its ok and he seems to wanna sniff and he seems ok. What I am wondering is,are Weims know to be aggressive or could he grow to be mean. I try to be a strong owner. He is pushing 80lbs and when he is in a frenzy,its hard. He is totally socialized with other dogs,at beaches,or parks. Even on walks. (He pulls awful) it just seems as if he is doing his job protecting me. My breeder says,nip it NOW. HOW to do this? Any feedback is greatly appreciated especially on Weims personalities. I LOVE This guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
