So I am new to this group, but have loved seeing all the pictures and stories of everyones OTTB and want to share my guys story... Ive actually had him over 3 years, but hed been off the track for 9 months when I found him. He was in terrible shape; underweight, abscessed feet (even had one shoe on still from who knows when), and being fed a random dog food concoction. His name is Gamblin George, but to me hes just my sweet George. His sweet eyes captured my heart and he has done nothing but impress me. Id never owned my own horse, but Id been riding since I was 4 years old and my family always had horses....however, only Arabians, so the Thoroughbred breed was also new for me. I rode him within 2 weeks of him arriving to the barn and he wouldnt even go in a circle to the right, so we spent 2 hours going in circles. It has been an adventure, but he is my pride and joy and he lives to please me and anyone who he encounters. This first picture is the night he arrived and the following pictures are over the next months and year....
