So I can take this little five or six inch plastic disc, insert it into my computer, and then my computer stores it, complete with names of the songs. Then I go to I Tunes, hopefully this is all legal, open a new file, and basically just drag songs from one side of the screen to the other. Then, if I dont like the order of these songs, I can drag them around until I have another great playlist. This I can either burn back to a CD, or I can put inside this little two inch square unit called an I pod. Sometimes, there are just a whole heck of a lot of things that we take totally for granted. I want to say a big thank you to all those ingenious souls who come up with all these great tools for us to use. Mostly I want to say a big thank you to all the musicians, who use their God-given talent and practice, practice, practice to create and perform those wonderful songs. Music done right goes stretches from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head! ps. I am now off to watch another great invention, the television. I will watch a football game, from another state, from another time zone, from another conference, on digital pictures, with instant slo mo replays to boot. I could say more about televisions, and the evils attached, but I suppose the lesson to be learned is that most everything has evil attached, it is all in how we utilize these tools and gifts. Finally, I have been around OU football long enough to know what it looks like when you are more physically talented, more physically and mentally tough, more prepared and in better conditioning. That Baylor football team dominated my beloved team, but deserves a lot of credit. They are building a memorable legacy for the Bears. For all those who quesitoned their place in the Big 12, with regards to football, lets just say their ticket has been punched. As they are the only program in our conference who can finish undefeated, Im pulling for them. Boomer Sooner and Boogie Bears!
