So I come to another crossroad in my life to take a job offer to move to another dealer for $2 more an hour but a longer commute from 25 mile round trip to a 63 mile round trip, I would get to wear shorts in the summer in the hot ass shop and if any1 knows me I hate being hot in summer with heavy ass shop uniform pants on lol... Just to think when I got my 1st job in the field after college I made $10hr hard to believe in 4 short years I made it to $26.50 and now negotiating more.... Ive hit huge highs in my short career booking 189 hours in a 2 week pay period. But I find my self wondering will I ever be happy or content with a place I work.... I just want to get back to my roots my passion of life. To enjoy fixing cars with out all the bullshit. When I quit Anderson Chevy I loves the guys I worked with but hated all the xtra work. Paul sur I love the guy I work for, there just isnt enough traffic threw the shop, and 1 guy I work with I litterly want to punch in the throat everytime he walks past me..... U kno Ive really tried to work past it come in to work do me and go home.... Ive realized u can tune every one out. But it really does bother me having to work with a guy that is such an asshole, and confrontational Ive tried to squash things with him before. I dont think I would quit if we got along. Now the thing is do I talk to him as say hey lets cut this shit out its been almost a year of be working here and Amend our differences and continue in a positive manner. And let it be or do I tell him if he doesnt cut the shit Im a quit? My owner knows hes an issue and doesnt know how to address him and cant fire him since hes worked there for 22 years, even though multiple technicians have had issues with him. How do I tell my boss I want to quit because of this guy. Im not scared of him he just presents and awkward intimation upon me and I dont feel I should have to feel that at my workplace everyday. I dont kno how to explain the way he makes me feel. Where is the easy button in life.
